Mission Statement

MCICOM Information Technology Directorate (G-6) is responsible for the policy, planning, programming, sustainment, modernization, compliance, and readiness of the communication and information technology capabilities that reside within MCICOM's subordinate commands.

Communications and information systems supported by G-6 include communication facilities, structures, and spaces that provide the distribution and delivery of all forms of electrical, optical, & electromagnetic spectrum communications.

It also includes information technology systems supporting MCICOM's functional mission area communication requirements that require voice, video, data information services including military command and control (C2) both secure and non-secure, non-C2, federal government, special, and commercial services within and between Marine Corps installations, facilities, and training areas.
