Unaccompanied Housing

"Taking care of Marines is a warfighting function. Otherwise, they cannot focus on the mission at hand. Barracks, chow halls, and gyms are key to retaining Marines, and investments in quality-of-life initiatives are truly warfighting needs."

- Gen Eric Smith, 39th Commandant of the Marine Corps.

The Marine Corps is actively engaged in ensuring that barracks are safe, suitable, and affordable; our Marines deserve no less. The safety, security, and well-being of our Marines is critical to our mission, and we are committed to ensuring they have the high-quality housing they rightly expect and deserve when living aboard a military installation.

The barracks manager is the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for barracks across our installations. They provide technical assistance to effectively and efficiently execute daily facility operations.
