G-4 Food Services

HQMC, I&L, LF, LFS/MCICOM G-4 Food Service and Subsistence branch is responsible for OCONUS garrison mess hall operations, and all operational rations (field feeding) requirements. In collaboration with the Regional Garrison Food Service Contract (RGFSC) Program Management Office (PMO), the MCICOM G-4 is able to address all Food Service related concerns.

Establishes policies for garrison and field feeding. The Marine Corps Reference Publication (MCRP) 4-11.8a, Marine Corps Field Feeding Program, was recently published as a guide for field feeding and the Marine Corps Order (MCO) 10110.14M, Marine Corps Food Service and Subsistence Program, is currently under revision. This office is working with MARCORSYSCOM to publish updated Technical Manuals (TMs) and USMC Training and Education Command (TECOM) to update the Training and Readiness manual.

Our branch serves as the Occupational Field (OccFld) Sponsor for 3381 and 3302 Military Occupational Specialties (MOSs). Our current efforts in support of the OccFld include analyzing the need to realign existing structure to backfill gaps created during the recent force structure drawdown. We will conduct a scrub of our Table of Organization (T/O) – Table of Equipment (T/E) in 3d Qtr, FY15 to address these concerns.

This page also provides a Common Access Card (CAC)-enabled link to the Food Service and Subsistence Branch SharePoint portal which contains additional information about Headquarters Marine Corps Food Service. Links are also provided for each Food Management Team’s SharePoint portal.

Regional Garrison Food Service Contracts (RGFSC) II Program Management Office (PMO) Program Goals: Provide for the acquisition and execution of food service support for CONUS mess halls; provide our Marines with a high-quality, nutritious menu developed using industry best practices; and control program costs from inception to execution while meeting all program requirements.
